Everett Ingalls IV

Client Service Associate

My name is Everett, and I am a Michigan native! I attended Michigan State University for undergrad, and recently graduated from Pennsylvania State University, with a Masters in Management/Business Administration. I moved to Denver and joined Johlfs Financial Group in February 2023. As an experienced Client Service Associate, I provide our clients with account related inquiries, technical support, and account onboarding. I also support the JFG Financial Advisors with account transactions, meeting preparation, administrative tasks, and creating customized financial plans.  In the near future, I look forward to getting my Series 7 license and being able to work hands on with clients.

Outside the office, I cheer on the Spartans, I enjoy surfing, developing my own film photography, and exploring the great outdoors.

I’ve always believed that you should try everything twice…so what isn’t on my bucket list, is the better question! I’d really like to be able to visit every country. I’m a BIG proponent of getting outside of your comfort zone, meeting new people, and experiencing everything life has to offer!

What was your first job?

I grew up in a small, beachside town on the coast of Lake Michigan and in the summer, tourists would flock to the lake. I worked on the boardwalk, for a local restaurant called Popcorn Paradise, who specialized in, you guessed it, popcorn! We made and sold over 50 different flavors of popcorn, and even offered free samples of all the flavors…if you could handle it.

What do you do for fun?

Outside of work, I love being able to get out in nature and explore. From hiking and climbing, to photography, I am fascinated by my new surroundings and can’t wait to find all of Colorado’s’ hidden gems. Growing up on the water, I’ve been a life-long surfer, and one might assume you can’t surf in Colorado, but you would be wrong. I’m part of a group called the Colorado River Surfers, who travel the state looking for the best waves! When I’m not getting lost in the woods, my time is devoted to my adventure partner of 5.5 years, Sarah!

Top 5 favorite Colorado activities:

  1. Skiing, anywhere and everywhere!
  2. Dispersed camping with a good group of friends and lots of laughs!
  3. Hiking EVERY trail in Colorado and snapping pictures along the way!
  4. Spontaneous concerts at Red Rocks, you find some awesome musicians/bands that way!
  5. Random events around the city, from farmer’s markets, music in the park, art shows, and enjoying a glass of wine in the sunshine!

What is your favorite Denver food, and why?

I need to go on record and say that there is not a single food I dislike. I will eat absolutely everything and love it, so this a tough question…I’d say right now I’ve enjoyed walking around my neighborhood (Uptown) and trying out the restaurants around me. Right now, the top spot goes to Coperta, a rustic Italian joint with incredible handmade pasta and even better service. Honorable mention goes to Ace Eat & Serve, a modern Asian/Vietnamese spot, I would die for their Green Curry Mussels and Dan Dan Noodles, but everything there is amazing.

Fun Fact: I’m a shark attack survivor!
