Anne Perry

Investment Executive

My name is Anne Perry and I started my career at Smith Barney (stapling tickets) back in the eighties. I jumped ship to retail trade Municipal bonds at EF Hutton and have had a continued passion for the financial services industry ever since. Fast forward to 2022, I joined JFG and am elated to have state-of-the-art technology and team members with a variety of expertise. Most importantly, I believe the clients always deserve to come first! Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing tennis, soaking up the views of Lake Dillon, and traveling the world!

What would be your ideal vacation?

  • "The Four Seasons in tropical Costa Rica. It just so happens that this long-awaited vacation will take place next month (October 2022).... and I believe it will be more than ideal! I enjoy any time I get at the beach. Second best, I choose anything from Inspirato."

What is your first job?

  • "I was a car hop in Michigan City, Indiana. I worked with my best buddies and honestly, it was all about the outfits and the cash tips! The most memorable job (with the best stories) was being a security guard at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. I left Red Rocks to get a "real world" career.... selling copies door to door (it was awful!)."

What advice do you have for clients during this tumultuous market?

  • "Well, unfortunately we probably have not seen the bottom in stocks yet. Stay, or get diversified and long term investors will be fine. This is not the first bear market we have gone through and we are all (hopefully) going to be ok. There will be some bear market rally’s and sell into those if you are nervous. Those who bought during the thick of Covid or during the financial crises were rewarded handsomely. Just remember regardless of the headlines, you are always the first priority so take care of yourself, enjoy the journey, and keep breathing! "

What are you passionate about?

  • "I thoroughly enjoy helping the elderly and changing their 'last chapter' for the better. Best advice to them? Stop changing the batteries in the pacemaker around age 103. All kidding aside, I consider myself an advocate for the older generation as they need as many cheerleaders as they can get."

What is your favorite hike?

  • "Although we live in the best state for hiking, my absolute favorite and most memorable would be in Lake Bled Slovenia (shown below). I also loved hiking in Dubrovnik, Croatia...it had more of a "Game of Thrones" feel.

What is your best advice to clients?

  • "Spend less than you make, and health is wealth. Having money means you should NOT worry about money. Read more, stream less."

What is a fun fact about yourself?

  • "For my 21st birthday, I decided to go skydiving!.....unfortunately, the parachute did not open....but with about a thousand feet left, the reserve worked!"
